Synthetic grass is most frequently found on football, soccer, and baseball fields across the country, but it’s an increasingly popular option for playgrounds and dog parks throughout Florida. How does playground turf work?

Additional layers of padding dependent on the height of the playground equipment kids can fall from.

Water passes through the turf quickly, which is typically installed over a 4” compacted stone base, allowing your kids to get back on the playground even after heavy rains. The sub-base is typically a crushed stone aggregate which is very porous. It’s essential to assess to determine if additional drainage needs to be added.

Artificial turf is easy to clean and largely requires just the removal of large debris from the surface.
